Susan Merrett - Hello All. I have had computer withdrawl symptoms as I haven't been near it for over a week!-Great to see all the thank-yous and add mine to the list!I had such a brilliant weekend!

I have suffered what can only be described as " frost-bite" in my feet and toes from all the standing over the weekend and am in serious agony!(maybe it was mixing antibiotics and alcohol!)
Roll on the next time! Take care
Love, Susan

Anne Millar - Un très grand merci depuis la France. OK that's enough frogtalk. I just wanted to thank everybody who had anything at all to do with the organization of THE EVENT last weekend. It was really fantastic and I'm really glad that I was able to be there. Travelling home last Sunday was really weird because I kept thinking back to the evening before and everybody I had met up with. I was stuck at Luton Airport for 4 hours and was trying to mark exam papers but I kept having flashbacks to the evening before. So much for the exam papers! ......... I got them finished but I don't really think the concentration was there.

Sincere apologies to several of you out there when I had a 'glakit' look on my face at times. I guess I'm not too good at remembering faces/names or is it senile dementia catching up on me? Maybe there should be another reunion soon to help jog my memory before it's too late. The rugby and hockey pictures certainly helped. If anyone out there is ever vaguely in the east of France, get in touch.
Take care everybody, Anne

Ian Seaton - Dear Fellow 50 Somethings.... Arrived back in Brissie this morning at 0800 after my 12 day sojourn to Scotland. ........... Like most of you have already articulated, the get together was a huge buzz. For me seeing all your faces for the first time since school in most cases was an amazing adrenalin rush. Once the initial hesitance and occasional one eyed name tag check was dispensed with, it was as if we had all been transported back in time and had never been away. I can't ever remember getting so many huggs in one weekend so for that reason alone we must do it again down the track. ...........
Thanks again to the organisers of the weekend and especially Katriona Dove whom I briefly bumped into (without name tag) on Saturday night in Edinburgh after the Scotland game ! Thanks also to Helen Kemp who produced a dozen bottles of plonk out of thin air at the Nethers in the wee sma hoors of the 20th to keep the party going along nicely. Finally a big clap for Maggie Robertson who has helped, encouraged and sustained the main man - in no uncertain terms - to do his stuff over the past year and make the re-union an event well worth the effort to travel half way round the planet for. Hope to see some of you in OZ in the not too distant future.....
Cheers. Ian

James Pope - Robbie et al,
Others have expressed their feelings on the weekend of the 19th far more articulately than me, but thought I’d add my heartfelt thanks to everyone who made it possible. Years and years just melted away and it was just great to see and hug so many friends – the whole thing was something special and Brian, you are just awesome mate!!

All the very best to everyone and keep in touch now we’ve broken the 20+ or in some cases, 30+ years. Here’s to the next one!! Lots of love

Susan Tod - The words thank you don't seem to be enough for anyone(least of all me)to express their gratitude for what had to be one of the best week endsever!!! Everyone involved in the organisation did a wonderful job, especially Robbie I think everyone will agree that if it hadn't been for him it never would have happened! ROBBIE SEI GRANDE!!!!!!!!
For me who all those years ago was just a little 1st year watching you guys mosseying (sp?) down the corridors it was just great to see you all again and having the courage to talk to you all and you all talked back wow!!!!!!!

It was also really good to see some of the teechurs, thanks to them for making the effort too. I really had a great time, loads of fun with many nostalgic and emotional moments too, having it in the school definately made it all the more reminiscent, ........... It really was a pleasure and an honour to have been part of it all, roll on the next one when hopefully all you guys with 'little' brothers and sisters will bring them along too!!!!! Hope you all got get home safely, take care. Much love, Susan (Tod)
